Kevin's Comic Sucks

Kevin Rose creator of Digg and co-host of Diggnation with Alex Albrecht was put on the cover of Captain America: The Chosen#6. Now the cover looks awesome.

And Kevin look cool too, but the comic is terrible and I tell you why.

It doesn't happen in the real Marvel Universe ot better to say the Mainstream Universe or even Ultimate Universe where Nick Fury is Samuel Jackson. The story takes place in just a imaginary tale and yes I know all comics are imaginary tales, but it makes this story meanigless and not part of cotintuity. It means that Kevin can't be in the same Marvel Universe where Stephen Colbert is still running for president and might actually win in the mainstream Marvel Universe.

Next thing is Kevin isn't even in the actual comic. Fireman, policeman, costruction workers, doctors they all get a moment to shine in a two-page spread. Kevin doesn't. Where the Hell is a picture of Kevin and Alex spilling some beer on a sofa when filming Diggnation.

Captain America also gets beat up which is sad and by a two bit thug.

The Holocaust is in it.

Zelda Treasure Chest

I made this for my best friend as a gift on his birthday. I got a pirate treasure chest from Party America and modded it to look like a Legend of Zelda Treasure Chest.

Then I filled it with candy.

Then porn.

He really enjoyed it, plus he already has the Link sword and shield. I also gave him a Batman Beyond symbol t-shirt and McDonalds gift card.

I also had the Legend of Zelda jingle play when he opened the treasure chest with a little sound toy I got in China Town. It was hard to get though because the boxes you get them in don't tell you what video game jingle they'll play. So I randomly chose 3 when there are 8 different one's you can get. The first one I got was the Legend of Zelda one. I was happy ,truly happy about that. I got them at Robocon http://www.yelp.com/biz/robocon-los-angeles. I told the sales clerk my story of how I just needed the Zelda sound toy and how much my friend would like it. She didn't care. So the store has great imports, toys, shirts, and books , but no heart or a website.
